About Zamin District Information and Library Center
Zamin District Information and Library Center was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 7, 2019, No. PQ-4354 "On further improvement of information and library services for the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the decision of the Governor of Jizzakh region dated June 11, 2019, No. 226, and the order of the Governor of Zamin district dated June 13, 2019, No. 3648.

Since December 18, 2019, the center has been operating in the building of the Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Technical School located in Zamin district.
Address: Mustaqillik Street, Qayirma MFY, Zamin District, Jizzakh Region.
Structure and Material Resources
The Information and Library Center initially started its operations with 4 departments. At the time of opening, the center's collection consisted of 9,500 copies of 3,840 book titles, including literature and textbooks.
The workforce is organized based on 18.5 staff units.
Promotion and Cooperation
To promote the library center among the population, active cooperation has been established with the following organizations and institutions in the district:
- 22 general education schools within the public education system
- Mahalla citizens' gatherings (MFY)
- District administration (Khokimiyat) and finance departments
- Prosecutor's Office
- Preschool educational institutions
- Youth Affairs Agency
- Medical Technical School
- Participation in all public events organized in the district
Staffing and Professional Development
All employees were hired for the newly established center with a 3-month probationary period. Staff members were selected through interviews from specialists with library experience and computer literacy.
Following the center's launch, 4 staff members completed advanced training at the National Library of Uzbekistan. Other employees received methodological assistance from the regional Information and Library Center.
User Services
To provide comfortable conditions for readers, the books are displayed in an exhibition format. The center is equipped with tables and chairs for readers.
Additionally, a free online book reading service has been launched, and a contract-based book delivery service is also available.
